MAN OF STEEL
The first movie in the DC Extended Universe(DCEU) Directed by Zack Synder also directed 3 more DC Films. This was the first Superman movie since 2006 Superman Returns. So, in this movie, we reintroduced to Superman origin story which in short is Clark learns about the source of his abilities and his real home when he enters a Kryptonian ship in the Artic. However, an old enemy follows him to Earth in search of a codex and brings destruction.
My thoughts: Man of Steel is a perfect balance of everything that makes a movie perfect. The character development, Action, Plot, and Emotion and well managed. This was co-written by Christopher Nolan, which made me excited. In the first half, you will not get that much and the movie pretty much feels like a typical superhero movie but as the second half comes to an end you get the answers. The movie has perfectly shown how everyone wants to keep their side good. The personality of superman is well defined and Henry Cavill was the perfect actor for this. The emotion in the movies makes you think about real life, that some problems don't need to be solved, the choice of superman of choosing humans was felt, Zod was in a villain figure but whatever he was doing was for his own people, it's like the saying "Everyone cares about themselves". The action was the best thing about this movie and the VFX done by Weta Digital, Scanline, MPC, Double Negative, Look FX, and Blur Studio was best. This movie is added to my personal favorites.
